YEART 305 - Sensational Sculpture (Age 6-9)

Join us at the Utah Museum of Fine Arts to learn about 3-D sculpture in the purest form. See their permanent exhibit and use it as a platform to create your own awesome sculptures. You'll view the famous Rodin exhibit and discuss the different artistic mechanisms that can be incorporated into your own work. Together we will discover different components of art such as line, form, style, negative space, and different mediums. We will also investigate such things as volume and mass through figurative and abstract forms. Learn what makes sculpture fascinating and why certain artists have become famous throughout the centuries. Co-sponsored with the Utah Museum of Fine Arts.
