Description
Art from everyday life! During the 1950's and the 1970's, artists like Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtentein and Jasper Johns used their wit and imagination to create works of art. In this class, students will learn about the POP art movement and how to create their own versions. Use photography, sculpture, and print making to explore different kinds of POP culture. At the end of the week, students will display their artwork and host an art opening in the UMFA classroom. Co-sponsored with the Utah Museum of Fine Arts.
