YEACT 200 - Youth Theatre Summer Teen Session (Age 12-18)

Youth Theatre's intensive summer program for talented young actors provides opportunities for character development on and off the stage. All students receive well-rounded training in acting, voice, and movement as well as the opportunity to choose two specialty elective classes that focus on specific performance and/or technical theatre skills. Students will have the opportunity to share skills learned in their elective classes with family, friends and fellow students in an 'Open Sharing Day' to be held in the Babcock Theatre. Students also take part in a performance company which will produce a 45- 60-minute show presented to family and friends at the end of the session. All students will receive a videotape of their performance. T-shirts are included in the program cost and must be worn daily.
