NURS 7880 - Nonparametric Statistics

Elective seminar in nonparametric statistics to provide a practical understanding of the logic and application of selected nonparametric statistics. Areas covered include nonparametric statistical tests in research; choosing an appropriate nonparametric statistical test; examining nonparametric tests that apply to single, paired, and independent samples; and measures of association and their tests of significance. Practical applications of nonparametric statistics, use of statistical computer packages to generate output, and interpretation of such analyses emphasized.
