Description
Create an abstract or figurative sculpture from oil clay. Unlike ceramic clay, oil clay does not dry out, allowing students to work with their sculpture from one week to the next. (Participants can arrange to create a silicone mold of their sculpture for future casting if they wish.) Students will also have an opportunity to create their own wooden sculpting tools. A show of the students' work will culminate the class. Ursula has a master's in sculpture from the Berlin, Germany, Academy of Art. She is represented by the Tivoli Gallery in Salt Lake and by other galleries nationwide; her work is held in numerous national and international collections.
