LLHG 455 - Interior Design for Your Style and Budget

You know you want to change the look of your home, but what is the best, most cost-effective way to affect that change? We'll introduce you to current looks/trends such as distressed, retro, chic, and feng shui, then help you recognize your personal style. We'll cover furniture arrangement, fabrics, window and floor coverings, lighting, effective use of color, and inexpensive accessories. You will come away knowing how to work with what you have, how to handle unusual and awkwardly sized spaces (including apartments), and how to remodel on a shoestring. Guest speakers, demonstrations, and field trips (dates will be arranged) are all part of this dynamic class.
