ART 4420 - Foundry Techniques

This course offers experience in foundry procedures. Aluminum and bronze casting techniques are explored through the lost wax process. This includes sprueing, investing, casting, and patination. Mold-making includes standard investment and no-bake-bonded resin sand. It is expected that a variety of media and approaches are integrated with cast elements.
