MSE 3310 - Introduction to Ceramics

Introduction to various aspects of ceramic materials including structures, properties (mechanical, thermal, electrical, magnetic, and optical), fabrication techniques, and modern applications. Intended as a preparative course for undergraduate students for their entry into more specilized ceramic series. A significant focus will be on ceramic design, Weibull analysis, and other statistical distributions.
