Description
Discover the thrill of working on a potter's wheel and the excitement of creating balanced, aesthetically pleasing works of art. Learn the basics of centering, opening, and shaping clay in its most pleasing form. Students will also learn advanced hand building techniques to add to their wheel-thrown work. Create bowls, saucers, cups, vases, compotes (two-part wheel-thrown creations) and much, much more! Explore an array of surface designs, attachments, and glazing techniques to complement your creations. You'll get messy, so dress appropriately. This class can accommodate both beginning and intermediate students.
