UGS 1000 - Strategies for University Success

Intended to provide entering freshman students with the knowledge, strategies, and competencies to help enhance their experience at the University of Utah. These objectives are pursued through a variety of activities and assignments, including class lectures, guest presentation, class discussions, hands-on exercises, and student presentations of individual and group projects. Students will have opportunities to improve their computer literacy and to learn essential library technologies. This course is open to any new freshman student.
