LAW 7065 - Intellectual Property

This introduction to intellectual property law will cover patents, copyrights, trademarks and related state law doctrines. While the study of each body of law will be geared to preparing the student to identify the appropriate forms of protection for various kinds of information, the course will also address each doctrine's relation to the others and to other policies such as freedom of expression and promotion of competition.
