ARCH 3610 - Folk Style in American Art and Architecture

An exploration of the form and structure of the folk arts in American life from colonial times to the present. Three folk traditions, the Anglo-, African- and Hispanic-American, become the focus of the course concentrating on architecture, the household or decorative arts, and music.
