ETHNC 5730 - Issues in American Indian Mental Health

Overview of historical relations between the Native American world and the U.S. government for understanding both urban and reservation mental health issues. Social and psychological approach used in understanding acculturational stress and will examine the Native American diversity. An examination of culturally appropriate communication styles will be conducted.
