NURS 6320 - Psychiatric/Mental Health Practicum I

Apply understanding of mental health and illness and knowledge of communication, mental health assessment, diagnosis, intervention, and evaluation of clients under faculty and preceptor supervision in a variety of clinical settings. Advanced skills as psychiatric/mental health nurse with individual clients developed. Seminars provide opportunity for students to critique clinical practice through treatment evaluation.
