NURS 6801 - Clinical Systems Analysis and Design

Focuses on systems analysis and design for development of a health information system that supports clinical decision making. Assessing use needs, diagramming clinical functions and processes, designing and validating an information system, and managing information systems projects are presented. Role of nursing and health care systems analyst also explored. Laboratory work includes a term project based on information needs in a local health care setting.
