Prerequisite: SP ED 6010 and 6021 and 6022 and 6030 and 6040 and 6051 and 6052. Co-requisite: SP ED 6330 and 6341. (Pre and Co-requisites apply only to SP ED Early Childhood Cert. students.)
Recommended Prerequisite: Nurs 6200 and FCS 5170 and 5190.
Description
Students examine typical and atypical communication, social, and play development during early childhood and a variety of validated assessment and intervention strategies. Intervention strategies which can be carried out in natural play and caregiving contexts are emphasized.
