Description
Examines human-environment relations from a variety of disciplines. Consists of different units, each taught by a professor from different scholarly discipline. Each professor shows how scholars in that discipline study human interactions with nature. The Wasatch Front is the ecosystem toward which most attention is directed, though the issues and observations learned here may generalize to other ecosystems. Examines assumptions about humans' use of nature and natural resources. There will be two field trips.
