Description
Introduces students to quantitative reasoning skills that will enable them to critically evaluate statistical evidence that they encounter in their daily lives (e.g., advertisements, surveys, research findings reported in popular media, etc.) Students will develop an understanding of basic statistical principles and tools that are frequently encountered in daily living. Students will practice critical evaluation of quantitative evidence and inferences drawn from it by others.
