Description
Provides knowledge about normative and dysfunctional behavior during the adult and elderly years of the life span. The theoretical foundation is based on: bio/psycho/social/spiritual paradigm, general systems theories, and ecological perspective. The influence of internal and external forces on human behavior will be examined. Content will include topics on: diversity, culture, social, and economic injustice. The values and ethics of the profession will be integrated into the curriculum.
