HONOR 2201 - Calculus for Non-science Majors I

Students will begin with a review of pre-calculus mathematics (students with less than the minimum high school mathematics studies should consult with the Honors Science Adviser to see if they need to do preliminary work before starting the sequence). The course will then turn to calculus. Otherwise difficult problems often become easy with the use of calculus. This course not only teaches the principles of calculus, but also demonstrates its application to a wide variety of fields.
