Description
Intended for students who have a background in molecular biology and genetics. Topics include recent molecular developments in the genetics of Mendelian disorders, cytogenetics, genetic diagnosis, segregation and linkage analysis, immunogenetics, cancer genetics, evolutionary genetics, and the genetics of common diseases. Survey of human genetic conditions with an emphasis on the underlying molecular biology. Guest lectures, core lectures supplemented with clinical commentaries are provided by the faculty from the Division of Medical Genetics.
