Students will explore individual- and population- level health for women, infants, children, and adolescents, identifying the main issues for each age group. Topics of high interest that cross age groups will be presented, such as family health, mental health, environmental exposures, nutrition, and disabilities. Emphasis is placed on interpreting epidemiologic findings, understanding disparities, and critically examining policies and programs at the local, national, and global levels.
