OSHER 95 - Jane Austen at 250 - Part One

Jane Austen is 250 years old this year. To celebrate, join us in discussing her six novels: the first three in Part One of this class, the last three in Part Two of the class, presented in the following term. Austen was an English writer who first gave the novel its distinctly modern character. She published four novels during her lifetime (1775-1817), two posthumously. They have become timeless classics.
