Description
This single session lecture will focus on the United States' involvement in the Vietnam War from 1965 to 1975. We will emphasize events relating to the variety of civilian workers and military nurses who served in Vietnam during America's war years there. We will closely examine the role of military nurses in the Vietnam War and the hazards these women faced while serving. We will also include some people who were not Americans but whose experiences reflected their American counterparts. This lecture is a follow up to the instructor's full six-week course about the wars in Vietnam.
