Description
Students are introduced to the organs of the human trunk from a regional standpoint. We will begin with the thorax, move to the abdomen, and finish in the pelvis. The organ systems of the trunk will be discussed in an integrated manner that places the gross and histological anatomy of organs in context with their neural control and physiological activity. At the end of each module, students should understand each organ at a functional level, ending with a detailed knowledge of the human trunk.
