We’ll discuss the importance of strategic messaging and high-stakes media relations, especially while navigating a fast-moving 24/7 news cycle. Students will also learn how news organizations work and who makes decisions within them, as well as common missteps that even the most established companies make. Through examining real-world case studies and engaging with prominent guest speakers – from leaders in journalism, politics, and law – you will be better prepared to understand how to protect and defend an organization’s reputation when, often, everything is on the line.
