Description
A field placement is an opportunity for students to earn academic credit while working under the supervision and guidance of a practicing attorney or judge. Through field placements, students are exposed to different practice areas and the courts, learn substantive law, develop lawyering skills, and build their understanding of lawyers' roles and professional responsibilities. In addition to on-site work, students will meet regularly with their assigned section during the semester. The course is pass/fail and capped at 14 total credits before graduation. Counts toward the experiential education requirement.
