Description
The Fixed-income course is a three-credit hour per week class. Each week students will learn about a different area of fixed-income markets with an emphasis on securities pricing, the use of fixed-income instruments, and/or the broader economic impact of fixed-income markets. Topics covered in this class include but are not limited to a general overview of Treasury securities and markets, corporate bonds, coupon-to-zero bootstrap and yield curve construction, modified duration, corporate spread, rating and default analysis, Libor and futures markets.
