The purpose of this course is to seek good practice in social sciences methodologically and statistically for procedures before the study is conducted. They involve the benefits of both a priori and exploratory approaches. They involve the benefits of full disclosure. They are clouded by the inherent nature of statistics, probability, and our love of correlation. This course will explore these concepts and seek a reasonable approach given characteristics of our phenomena.
