We will also examine the influence of culture on self and social identity. Cultural differences in parental styles in adolescent development as well as the physical, biological, cognitive, and emotional development in adolescence will be reviewed. We will analyze the cross-cultural influences on stress adaptation and resilience in children and adolescents. Finally, we examine cross-cultural influences on adulthood, maturity, and the aging process.
