JAPAN 3010 - Third-Year Japanese I

The course focuses on developing Intermediate level of language and cultural proficiency in the Japanese language enabling students to communicate in various target language contexts. The course aims at further developing students’ language skills through a well-balanced acquisition of vocabulary, grammar, and cultural knowledge that will reinforce their understanding of diverse life experiences and facilitate fluent, appropriate, and culturally nuanced language interpretation and use. This course is designed for students who have completed 1010 to 2020. 150 new kanji will be introduced, bringing the total number to 500. Required course for the minor/major.
