Description
The Introduction to Population Health Pathway II is intended to provide students with experiential learning in areas of population health sciences. It will build on the didactic learning training in the first term of the Population Health Pathway and will provide students with opportunities to connect with mentors and define a research area. As a result of successfully completing the four years of the Population Health Pathway: 1. Students will have an understanding of the basic population health concepts (e.g., payment systems, health and behavioral economics, prevention, analytics, segmentation/risk stratification, health policy) 2. Students will be engaged with health and healthcare at a healthcare system / societal level 3. Students will apply their knowledge to work meaningfully on a population health intervention
