PHYS 7623 - Queer Theory in Science Education

This course will unravel intersectional ideas around identity pertaining to gender, race, and queerness. Through this unraveling, we will explore the history of science and how social attitudes and contexts shaped the experiences of racial, gender, and sexual minorities in science. A closer examination will also be taken of these forces’ roles in student experiences in science education.
