Description
The Seminar in Dissemination and Implementation Science is intended for students enrolled in the Graduate Certificate Program in Implementation Science. This semester-long course can be taken for .5 or 1 credit hours and will require students to attend seminars or workshops in Dissemination and Implementation Science offered in-person (locally or at national conferences, etc.) or virtually. Students will be required to attend events (seminar or workshop), engage in the discussion/activities of that seminar/workshop as appropriate, and submit a structured reflection on the event to the course instructor within one week of the event. In collaboration with the Dissemination and Implementation Core of the Utah CTSI, a curated list of potential events that fulfill the requirement of the seminar will be made available to students. Credit hours and duration of the seminar determine the number of events a student needs to attend each month. For example, .5 credit hours requires one event per month for one semester (4 events), whereas 1 credit hour requires two events per month for one semester. A student can earn up to 2 total credit hours of this course.
