ATSM 6840 - Health Care Informatics

This course will focus on health care informatics to aid in the administration and delivery of patient care and to explore quality assurance and quality improvement to enhance patient care. Students will learn about the details associated with electronic medical records and their ability to be a source of data for improving patient care. Other data from biometric and physiological monitoring systems will be explored to be used in effective preventative measures, clinical interventions, and performance enhancement.
