LING 6021 - Graduate Syntax

This course provides an introduction to Minimalist syntax. On the one hand, the course familiarizes students with the theoretical foundations and alternatives offered by different implementations. On the other, topics discussed more in depth may include argument structure, agreement, case licensing, movement and coreference, relying on data from a variety of languages.
