DENT 7645 - Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Clinic 6: Senior Pathway

The D4 student will continue to prepare of his/her residency interviews. The D4 will go to the OR with course director and serve as a surgical assistant on all cases referred to the specialty. A Log will be kept of cases. The D4 student will participate in advanced surgical approaches such as extraction of soft tissue third molar impactions. A reflection paper 2-3 pages in length will be written by the D4 to describe the advantages and disadvantages of the pathway experience.
