NUCL 7220 - Analytical Nuclear Forensics

This course will introduce students to fundamental techniques and data processing in nuclear forensics including sample collection, processing/purification and characterization using both destructive and non-destructive analysis techniques. Students will learn key signatures associated with different stages of the nuclear fuel cycle. Students will be given design project to identify new signatures based on processing history.
