The second session meets at the entrance to the Herd Management Area (HMA), about a 1.5-hour drive from Salt Lake City. Specific directions will be given to registered participants in the first meeting. The main road on the HMA is packed dirt/loose gravel and generally very dusty. Please be sure you have a spare tire for your vehicle. This trip may require some light hiking. Binoculars, a spotting scope, or cameras with zoom lenses are encouraged (the instructor will provide a scope and binoculars for participants to share). The final session will be held online.
