OSHER 874 - Making Sense of the Climate Crisis Based on the Wake Up World Curriculum

This class will provide a broad overview of our ecological/climate crisis. We will introduce the vocabulary of climate change, the basic science agreed upon by 99% of climate scientists worldwide, and the concept of climate justice. The class will examine the roles of various groups, including how individuals can play a significant part in solving this crisis. This introduction is for people who are trying to make sense of all of the climate rhetoric and simply want to learn ways to help.
