MUSC 6821 - Advanced Vocal Pedagogy II

We will review the most current understandings of learning theory and explore their application to the teaching of singing. Students will encounter a deeper understanding of vocal acoustics and investigate how to promote the physical and behavioral changes they desire for their singers. While this discussion will be weighted heavily in the study of western classical singing styles, other styles and genres will be explored.
