OSHER 833 - Basic Watercolor Introduction

This course will be a very basic introduction to watercolor for those who are just thinking about trying out the medium or those who have their supplies but are unsure of how to get started. We will discuss basic supplies and how to set up your palette and your workspace for efficient and easy use. We will learn very basic brush strokes and techniques, basic color combinations, and basic values. This class is designed to give the beginning painter the tools to get started on their watercolor journey and hopefully develop a lifelong love of the medium. Most importantly, we will learn that watercolor is FUN and a true journey of self discovery!
