HIST 4070 - History of Science in Asia

In this course, we begin with discourses of science surrounding European colonization of Asia, and then look at how different people in Asia used science to speak back to empire. The course continues with analysis of science and nation building along with other topics such as food and nutrition, the atomic bomb, and the Cold War in Asia.
