ATFA 6901 - Arts Teaching Project Implementation

The purpose of this course is three-fold: (1) to implement and deliver arts teaching lessons and/or community-engaged arts making experiences; (2) to assess the teaching and creative process by quantifying, compiling, and recording assessment results and findings; and (3) to complete the final arts teaching portfolio. ATFA 6900 and ATFA 6901 occur during the final year (two semesters) of a student's program of study and requires approximately 20 hours per week of supervised experience. Students receive formal and informal coaching, observation, and feedback in the implementation of final arts lessons and/or community-engaged experiences, arts teaching assessments, and the final arts teaching portfolio.
