GLOBL 910 - English for Academic Purposes I

This course helps undergraduate international students develop the academic English language and study skills they need to meaningfully participate in university-level courses and produce coherent academic writing. Students practice the four main language skills -- listening, reading, writing and speaking -- as well increasing their active academic vocabulary. The course provides integrated skill development that helps students develop critical thinking skills, note-taking strategies, and the ability to produce presentations and writing appropriate for a university classroom.
