ATSM 6800 - Athletic Training as a Health Care Profession

This course will provide students with an understanding of the history, roles and responsibilities, and current state of the athletic training profession. The sports medicine team will be identified with specific instruction on the athletic trainers’ role. Professional development plans within athletic training will be discussed.
