Description
Join us for a late afternoon of classic coffee comparisons with John Bolton, the owner of Salt Lake Roasting Co. We will begin with an overview of where coffee comes from, followed by a look at the culture behind coffee, including a pictorial journey across the world of coffee and an intimate view of the people who grow it. We will discuss alternative brewing methods and enjoy a "cupping" (tasting) of coffee from six unique origins. By tasting these together, you will have a clearer idea of how origin, altitude, varietals, and roast profile each affect your preferences and your "perfect cup." We will finish with enough time to discuss and answer your specific questions.
