ELP 6310 - Introduction to Instructional Leadership

This course will introduce students to the theories and practices of instructional leadership. This will include: adult learning theory, shared vision, positive school climate, supporting continuous school improvement, facilitating professional collaboration; and improving teachers' content and pedagogical knowledge. The course places an emphasis on developing the students' skills in becoming instructional leaders who can apply research to their emerging instructional leadership practice.
