GEOG 3420 - Political Geography

Political Geography has a focus on the spatial dimensions of borders, migration, violent conflict, elections, trade, and natural resource use. The course covers international and domestic topics. Regions around the world are increasingly interconnected--through communications and economic ties--but global events also underscore the importance of political divisions in addition to similarities and policy agreements.
