LLART 309 - Modern Hand Embroidery: Cacti and Succulents

Embroidery is a meditative art but easy to pick up. With a few basic stitches you can create almost anything, limited only by your imagination and the occasional hand cramp. Begin or expand your modern hand embroidery skills; previous experience is welcomed but not necessary. We will learn techniques that include beginning to intermediate stitches, gradients, patches, lettering, patterning, and more. Our subject will be cacti and succulents, but the skills and techniques you learn will be applicable to any project.
